Introduction of Rice Flour Production Line

Rice flour is produced from polished rice via crushing, grinding, sieving, drying, and classification processes. It is widely used in food processing, baking, frozen foods, baby food, and various gluten-free products.

Dry Milling Process

Dry milling is the most popular, efficient, and cost-effective method suitable for most food applications.

1. Dry Milling Process Flow

Rice → Cleaning → Destoning → Magnetic Separation → Crushing → Fine Grinding → Sieving → Ultrafine Milling (optional) → Packaging

Wet Milling Process

Wet milling produces whiter, finer, more elastic flour, suitable for premium food-grade products.

1. Wet Milling Process Flow

Rice → Washing → Soaking → Softening → Wet Grinding → Slurry Separation → Dewatering (Filter press/Centrifuge) → Drying → Milling → Sieving → Packaging

Equipment: rice washer, soaking tanks

Function: softens rice and improves grindability

(2) Wet Grinding System

Equipment: stone mill / colloid mill / wet grinder

Advantage: produces fine and smooth slurry

(3) Slurry Separation

Semi-wet milling offers moderate gelatinization and elasticity, ideal for steamed and cooked rice-based products.

1. Semi-wet Milling Process Flow

Rice → Washing → Moisture Spraying → Conditioning → Low-temperature Grinding → Sieving → Packaging
